Calls to nurture creativity as tertiary arts enrolments decline

Is Australia at risk of becoming an artless nation?  

An advocate for arts education says it’s time to act, and re-focus on nurturing creative skills. 

Chair of National Advocates for Arts Education John Saunders has co-authored a new report which examines the decline in tertiary creative arts courses, as well as a fall in enrolments in some senior secondary school arts subjects.
