SA set to have nations toughest anti-protest laws

The Greens, unions and civil liberties groups are warning that proposed anti-protest laws before the South Australian parliament will have a chilling effect on free speech and the democratic process.

Under the new bill protesters could face fines as high as $50,000 or be sent to jail for as long as three months.
