Queensland rushed laws for youth crime not good: union

This week, the Queensland government has rushed some law amendments in the State Parliament to suspend the Human Rights Act and to allow children to be detained in police watch houses.

This has prompted community organisations to protest against these amendments, saying the system should change, particularly for children.
