The Opposition are scathing on the $9.3 Billion surplus saying it is not through good management but on the back of the average Australian’s tax by virtue of bracket creep.
Shadow Finance Minister Jane Hume says that productivity has been falling and that this is the real answer to the inflation demons. She questions why this hasn’t been addressed in the Budget.
