Will Australia’s new physical activity guidelines improve health outcomes?

For the first time in over a decade, the Australian government has unveiled new physical activity guidelines for adults and older adults (aged 65+).

The federal government first started releasing guidelines in 1999 in hope of improving health outcomes for adults in the country.

So what exactly has changed with the new guidelines? Will they deliver positive changes for Australians’ physical activity?
