UTS staff to strike on Thursday

On Thursday staff at the University of Technology Sydney will be taking industrial action. This will see staff walk of the job, with lectures and tutorials cancelled due to an impasse in negotiations over a new enterprise agreement with the university and concerns about course cuts and job security.

Elena Garcia Araujo asked the NTEU’s UTS branch representative Paddy Gibson the reasons they have decided to strike on Thursday.
