School approved apps could pose risks to Australian children’s data

A new research led by the University of New South Wales has found approximately 200 school-endorsed Android apps have been harvesting children’s data to third parties.

These apps operate behind highly complex privacy policies with many teachers and parents unaware of their security risks.
