Over $13 billion annually – that’s how much Australia loses on poker machines – the highest rate in the world. More than three million Australians are affected by gambling harm every year, leaving lives and families devastated.
During this Gambling Harm Awareness Week, Gambling Harm Lived Experience Experts have launched Loss Limits, Not Lost Lives, a national campaign urging governments to enforce loss limits on poker machines.
The petition launched on change.org is led by Kate Seselja, who survived a fifteen-year gambling addiction that nearly cost her everything.
