The seafood industry has spent decades trying to find a foolproof way of determining the source and provenance of seafood and reduce the risk of foreign product being passed off as Australian.
But now, UNSW has teamed with the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation to recalibrate a common handheld device providing a unique profile of the elements of a fish.
