A new film offers a glimpse into the experience of forced displacement though a generational saga that follows a Palestinian family from the Nakba to the present day to explore the inter generational trauma arising from this original act of dispossession that say millions of Palestinians stripped of their land.
The film would be submitted by Jordan in Best International Feature Film category at the Academy Awards and would also win the Audience Prize at last year’s Sydney Film Festival.
Stephen Hill asked the actor and director of “All That’s Left of You” Cherien Dabis whether it was difficult to develop a narrative on a such a weighty part of Palestinian history.
