Older Australians with high depression: research

An evaluation of more than 40 years of research has found psychological therapy is a promising alternative to the over-reliance on anti-depressants in aged care.

With nearly 6 in 10 Australians in residential aged care taking antidepressants, older Australians are a group with the highest level of depression.
