Historic ‘climate refuge’ deal struck between Tuvalu and Australia

Last week, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, announced a landmark deal to relocate citizens from Tuvalu to Australia, a country located 5000 kms east of our nation.

The deal comes after Tuvalu faces displacement from climate change as the sea levels continue to rise.

What could this deal mean for both parties?
