Creativity key in reducing plastic pollution

Trillions of pieces of plastic are in our oceans and it’s predicted that global plastic production is set to double by 2040.  The issue has since been termed by a leading scientist as “a planetary crisis”.

In a bid to explore how different countries are tackling plastic pollution, the CSIRO has published a book, Ending Plastic Waste, which brings together 19 initiatives from 15 countries including Australia.

So, how are communities world-wide playing their part using creativity to mitigate the issue?
