Beef exportation between Australia and China back on track

Australian beef producers are celebrating after China lifted trade bans on five major beef processing facilities.

Beijing will partially lift the four-year ban, allowing select producers to recommence business with Chinese importers for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic.

The decision removes bans on exporting facilities in Queensland and New South Wales which were exporting around a billion dollars in beef products before the ban was imposed.
