The Banksia Hill Detention Centre is in the spotlight, after a Greens State Senator delivered more than 50 letters written by the Aboriginal Legal Service of WA to the State’s Upper House.
The letters allegedly contain formal complains of children detained in the centre about the misconduct and abuse from the Youth Control Order.
