Antarctica estimated at $276 billion dollars: research

New research from the University of Tasmania, has been able to attach an economic value to Antarctica and its surroundings.Antarctica and its nearby Southern Oceans are estimated at $276bn.
The research justifies the value because of its ecosystem and contributions to the planet, and researchers believe this could bring better protections to the continent.
