Anonimity in research applications benefits early researchers

A multi-year study led by the office of Australia’s women in STEM Ambassador has investigated the outcomes of anonymity – removing names and other identifying information on Australian research facility applications.

The study highlights major benefits experienced by early career researchers when names are removed and applications for scientific equipment remain anonymous.
