1.4 million Australian students don’t have access to computers

With children across Australia heading back to school, access to technology is more important than ever for their education.

Around 1.4 million young Australians still don’t have access to a computer at home, putting them at risk of being left behind.

This figure has increased over the past 12 months, further widening the digital divide across the nation.

A not-for-profit organisation is calling on businesses and organisations to donate used computers, which can be repurposed to help close this gap.
