More than half of Australian university students use AI

More than half of Australian university assignments are now estimated to involve some form of artificial intelligence, according to new data from TurnitIn.

While many students are using AI as a learning tool, universities are also grappling with how to maintain academic integrity, redesign assessments and prepare graduates for the workforce.
