Thousands of migrant workers in Queensland could lose vital visa and workplace support under the upcoming federal budget in May.
The Queensland Migrant WorkWise program – established just a year ago – is at risk of losing the funding it relies on to assist exploited workers.
The service has already supported more than two thousand people across the state, delivering information in more than ten languages.
