Stevi Goldsworthy and the Grants SubCommittee are currently working on an  application to secure Outside Broadcast equipment for Eden Community Radio.

With an appropriate Notebook Computer and software and peripherals, to compliment some existing electronic equipment, all that would remains is for Station Manager Terry Love, technical expert Rudi Kubis and committee person Graeme Wykes to install and test the set up and then once complete engage with our local community for broadcast opportunities. 

The Outside Broadcast team when fully functional are keen to be associated with such events as the Eden Whale Festival, the Merimbula Jazz Festival and the Nethercote Annual Trail Ride to name a few.      Local sports broadcasts and special events such as supporting the Cruise Eden program are also other opportunities that the team will be exploring.

Once more a big thanks to the Grants subcommittee for their hard work and it is hoped that the Outdoor Broadcast crew will be soon be coming to an event near you.
